A group of polytechnic students has successfully developed 3D-printed gadgets to ensure Singapore’s elderly can survive without ever interacting with their disappointed families again.

The "PrintAid" initiative allows seniors to reclaim their independence through cheap plastic grips, effectively automating the role of the "favoured grandchild" out of existence.

Sociologists claim that 3D-printing a "pill remover" is far more cost-effective than pretending to care about a stroke-afflicted relative’s weekend.

“Aiyah, last time I build this nation, now I need plastic thing to open bottle, so jialat,” remarked one senior tester.

“But at least now I don't need wait for my grandson who only care about his Telegram and bubble tea.”
