A local man has been hospitalised for severe malnutrition after attempting to find a "full meal" for $10 at the Geylang Serai bazaar.

Medical experts confirm the victim’s organs began shutting down after he realised $10 only buys a single damp napkin and a three-second glance at a Wagyu Scotch Egg.

Stall owners defended the prices, citing the high cost of "vibes."

"Liddat also want to complain? My rental price can buy one bungalow already leh," shouted one cheesesteak vendor while charging $18 for bread held near a cow.

One student, seen weeping over a $16 potato, agreed.

"Last time $10 can buy the whole stall, now $10 only can buy the smell of charcoal," she sobbed.
