Singapore Landlord Wins Award for Innovative Four-Man Bunk Tetris
A visionary Toa Payoh landlord has successfully disrupted the housing market by rebranding a cramped storeroom as a "Quad-Core Co-Living Synergy Suite."
The innovative property features a bespoke four-tier bunk system that allows tenants to experience the intimate warmth of a stranger's snoring just inches from their nose.
Rental experts suggest that the $900-per-slot price tag is a bargain for the privilege of inhaling a roommateβs recycled carbon dioxide.
"Steady lah, last time I stay alone very lonely, now got three other guys to hug when the hantu come," said 35-year-old tenant, Leonard Teo.
Landlords claim the "Sardine-Chic" aesthetic is perfect for Sinkies who find personal space overrated and prefer the pheromonal musk of a crowded MRT carriage at home.
"Aiyoh, don't complain leh, four people share one fan is very eco-friendly, save the earth you know?" remarked property agent, Serene Lim.
