Health Minister Ong Ye Kung has unveiled a bold roadmap to transform the nation into the world’s most efficient departure lounge by 2030.

The target of training 10,000 palliative care workers ensures that when citizens finally decide to stop being a burden on the state, they do so with a certified professional watching.

The Minister noted that as a super-aged society, Singapore’s primary economic export will soon be silence.

The new training curriculum includes “Softly Explaining Why This Isn't A Private Suite” and “Efficiently Harvesting Singpass Credits From The Deceased.”

Industry experts suggest this move will finally allow Singapore to gamify the end-of-life experience, with nurses earning “Angel of Death” points for every ward they vacate ahead of schedule.

“We want our nurses to be experts in the art of the final 'can-cannot',” a Ministry source claimed.
