NEA Replaces Dying Hawkers With Holograms That Still Berate You
The National Environment Agency has unveiled its latest plan to save Singapore’s culinary heritage by replacing all biological hawkers with high-performance androids.
These state-of-the-art machines are programmed with a "Grumpy Uncle" algorithm, ensuring they can simultaneously ignore your order while overcharging for extra chilli.
Local food enthusiast Tan Ah Kow was ecstatic about the transition to silicon-based char kway teow.
"Wah lau, this robot one better sia, at least the machine never go toilet then forget wash hand before fry my noodles," Tan remarked while queuing.
The ministry confirmed that the robots will also be equipped with sensors to detect and verbally abuse anyone who fails to return their tray within three seconds.
Future updates include a "Passive-Aggressive Auntie" patch that judges your life choices based on your request for less salt.
