MINDEF Mandates 2 PM Sunday Book-In To Prevent Recruits From Feeling Human
The Ministry of Defence has announced that Sunday book-in times will be moved to 1400 hours to ensure recruits have zero time to contemplate their miserable lives.
Spokesmen claim that "Early Integration Sessions" are vital to prevent soldiers from contracting the infectious "Civvie Spirit" which leads to dangerous thoughts of freedom.
"Why you want stay home, your mother cook very nice is it?" barked Senior Warrant Officer Tan, while vibrating with pure unadulterated malice.
"Book in early better, can spend more time polishing boots and staring at the wall like a bloody vegetable," he added.
Commanders believe that by stripping away the final remaining hours of a weekend, soldiers can more effectively transition into a state of total, brain-dead obedience.
Recruit Lim, currently sobbing while packing his field pack, was told to "diam" and "sign extra" if he wanted to see the sun again.
"Walao eh, 1400 book in is basically staying in camp forever, lan lan suck it up but I want to cry lah," Lim whispered.
Under the new directive, any NSF caught smelling like civilian happiness before sunset will be charged with "Conduct Unbecoming of a Depressed Slave."
