The world has finally admitted that William Shakespeare’s original "Macbeth" was a boring pile of pretentious rubbish until someone decided to add martial arts and black magic to the script.

The new adaptation, "Randai Macbeth", ditches the tedious 16th-century poetic rambling for the far superior art of kicking people in the throat while wearing a buffalo-horn headdress.

"Last time Macbeth only talk, talk, talk, damn sian one," noted local arts critic, Ah Hock.

"Now got silat, so if King Duncan don't want to die, Macbeth can just sepak his face until he go cemetery, sibei song!"

Director Norzizi Zulkifli confirmed that the Scottish Play was always missing the "Nusantara vibe," specifically the part where Lady Macbeth uses actual witchcraft instead of just being a regular manipulative hag.

Theatre-goers are reportedly thrilled they can finally witness a regicide without having to pretend they understand a single word of Iambic pentameter.
