Thousands of Singaporeans are currently flocking to the Rail Corridor to pretend they aren’t dying of boredom.

Outfitted in $400 compression gear for a path flatter than the national libido, these urban explorers brave the terrifying elements of moderate humidity and occasional bird droppings.

“Wah lao, I tell you ah, the terrain very siao one, almost slip on one pebble just now, lucky I never die,” said 42-year-old fitness enthusiast Tan Ah Kow while pausing his $900 Garmin watch.

The authorities are reportedly considering installing oxygen stations to assist those suffering from the altitude sickness of being four metres above sea level.

“I bring three litre of water and emergency flare just in case I get lost behind the Clementi NTUC,” added Tan.

For these brave souls, the ultimate reward for their "lepak" session is a selfie with a rusty bridge to prove they conquered the great indoors.
