Government Rebrands 150km Dehydration Marathon As ‘Casual Lepak’
The Health Promotion Board has officially designated the 150km Round Island Route as a "low-intensity chill session" for stressed-out citizens.
Despite temperatures hitting 34 degrees with 90% humidity, authorities insist that pedalling until your internal organs simmer is the peak of Singaporean leisure.
The initiative aims to lower national stress levels by ensuring every resident is too physically incapacitated to complain about the cost of living.
"I only got three blisters and my legs cannot move, but the gahmen say this is 'relaxing', so I just follow lor," said local cyclist Lim Ah Huat while being loaded into an ambulance.
"Siao eh, my backside so pain I cannot sit down for one week, but the sign say 'lepak', so I just diam diam and cycle," another survivor added.
Critics suggest that 15 hours of inhaling bus fumes on Changi Coast Road is the most efficient way to achieve total inner peace via heat-induced hallucinations.
