The setup features a parasol large enough to hide a small circus and a gas cylinder that doubles as a communal sacrifice to the gods of friction.

While neighbors complain about the stench of rotting gravy, the residents have achieved the ultimate Singaporean dream: paying for a small flat but claiming the entire ground floor as private property.

The Holland–Bukit Panjang Town Council has responded with their most powerful weapon: a strongly worded piece of paper that the couple reportedly uses as kindling for their stove.

Authorities confirmed they will continue to "monitor" the situation, which is civil servant code for waiting until the block reaches low-earth orbit in a gas-fueled explosion.
