Bishan Otters Granted Diplomatic Immunity After Terrorising Sentosa Socialites
The National Parks Board has officially surrendered all sovereignty to the Bishan-Pasir Ris otter family, declaring them the supreme overlords of the islandβs waterways.
Following a series of high-profile hits on $20,000 ornamental koi, the semi-aquatic rodents have been granted a permanent seat in Parliament and a lifetime supply of taxpayer-funded sashimi.
"Wah lau, those otters damn power sia, eat my bossβs gold fish then still can pose for selfie," remarked site supervisor Ah Hock.
While citizens struggle with the rising cost of living, the otters have been seen scoffing down endangered cichlids in the Botanic Gardens without paying a single cent in GST.
"I tell you ah, now even mata see them also must salute, if not later kena complain on Mothership," said local resident Auntie Bee.
The government confirms that any citizen caught scowling at an otter will be sentenced to three weeks of public shaming at the Merlion.
